Coventry Homes Wins 'Home of the Year' at 2022 MAX Awards

June 30, 2022

Coventry Homes took home three awards at the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Austin’s 2022 Marketing and Advertising Excellence (MAX) Awards, including “Home of the Year - Production Model.”

The builder’s model home in The Hollows on Lake Travis was named “Home of the Year - Production Model” in the annual competition. The Kaufman floor plan features game and media rooms, a formal dining room and study.

Alex Dadidakis, Central Texas division president Coventry Homes believes the kitchen is one of the standout features that caught the judges’ eyes.

“The unique ‘working kitchen’ has been a huge selling point across all demographics,” Dadidakis said. “Buyers love the large island that defines the kitchen area while providing additional counter space. Even more counter space is available because we added a dedicated area for kitchen appliances.”

Additional features include large windows and a volume ceiling in the study to create a sense of space. A tray ceiling and expansive bowed window in the primary bedroom as well as an oversized walk-in shower, freestanding soaking tub and dual vanities in the bath highlight the sophisticated primary suite, Dadidakis said.

Optional sliding glass doors open to an optional Texas-sized covered patio merge the interior and exterior living areas into one large entertainment area. The patio is further augmented by an optional outdoor kitchen and fireplace.

Coventry Homes’ model in Carneros Ranch was recognized with awards for “Best Interior Merchandising of a Model between $500,000 - $650,000” and “Best Single Family Detached Home - Volume Builder - $650,000 - $850,000.”

Merchandising Masters Interiors (MMI) crafted the décor for the home which highlights The Hideaway floor plan.

Dadidakis said the design is very popular with move-up buyers due to a large open common area with a wall of windows for natural lighting, storage-friendly kitchen and study.

Rooms feature subtle and bold pops of color such as a surrounding half bold colored wall with gold accents in the study. Light and airy furniture and accent pieces draw attention to the natural lighting.

“We are thrilled our models received such prestigious awards,”, Dadidakis said. “It is due to the dedication of everyone on the Coventry Homes’ team that we are able to create homes that enhance the lifestyles of our customers for years to come.”

The annual MAX Awards honor builders, developers, remodelers and associates who have made a significant and creative contribution to residential marketing through specific achievements during the previous year.
