An up-and-coming suburban area, Liberty Hill is growing strong. Its popularity is due in part to its small-town charm and location 35 minutes from downtown Austin.
The rolling hills, green belts and shady trees have attracted numerous residents. Santa Rita Ranch is an award-winning community that takes full advantage of the surrounding beauty. Its residents enjoy lakes, trails, parks and preserves.
Excellent schools can be found in Liberty Hill. Liberty Hill ISD is one of the top 25 districts for athletes in Texas, according to Niche. It is also one of the safest school districts in the Austin area.
Residents of Liberty Hill engage in numerous outdoor sports including boating, fishing and camping on Lake Buchanan. Within the town, Lions Foundation Park offers a pavilion with picnic areas, a soccer-football practice field, a 0.8-mile walking track, two ball fields, a volleyball court and library. The International Sculpture Park features artists from six countries including some of the best work from Mel Fowler.
Austin attractions are near enough that families can easily spend the day viewing animals at the Austin Zoo or playing in Zilker Park. Closer to home, adults can experience the only underground tasting room in Texas at Thirsty Mule Winery. Kids can live it up at Sweet Eats Fruit Farm.
Wolf Ranch Town Center is where most Liberty Hill residents do their shopping. It’s also an easy drive to the Round Rock Premium Outlets. A Whole Foods 365 is located in Liberty Hill. Popular dining spots include Dahlia Café, Fratelli Pizza and Major’s Burger Company.
