Coventry Homes to Start Soon in Candela

October 12, 2020

Coventry Homes will soon begin building in Candela, a new community in Richmond.

The builder is offering three series of floor plans in the community, located along the Westpark Tollway just west of the Grand Parkway. The floor plans — designed for 40-, 50- and 60-foot homesites — will be base-priced from the mid $200,000s to the $400,000s. Coventry will build three model homes in Candela.

“We have great expectations for Candela given its excellent location, level of planned amenities and schools,” said Paul Blackburn, region president for McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., (MHI), parent company of Coventry Homes. “Residents will be able to easily reach employment centers in Katy, Houston and Sugar Land, and there is plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment nearby.”

Coventry Homes is inviting prospective home buyers to join its VIP list; those who do will receive a $5,000 buyer bonus when they purchase a new Coventry home in Candela.

The 460-acre community is planned for 1,555 homes. Planned amenities include the Axis Amenity Center with a pool, splash pad, multi-purpose room and fitness center. Additional amenities include a dog park, yoga lawn, playground, pavilion and Solstice Park. Students will attend schools within the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District.

Candela is one of 30 Houston-area communities that offers new homes by Coventry Homes.
