Coventry Homes Expands Into New Braunfels Communities

September 2, 2020

Coventry Homes recently started sales in two New Braunfels communities, the Overlook at Creekside and Legend Point.

The builder is offering eight floor plans in Overlook at Creekside priced from the $250,000s. In Legend Point, Coventry offers 10 designs priced from the $230,000s.

“These home designs beautifully reflect Hill County aesthetic and efficiently maximize the square footage,” said Alex Dadidakis, Central Texas division president for McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. (MHI), parent company of Coventry Homes. “That’s an effective combination and we have seen sales almost immediately in both communities.”

Overlook at Creekside is located along FM 1101 just a few minutes from Interstate 35. Home designs range from approximately 1,600 square feet to just over 3,100 square feet. The three- to five-bedroom homes offer a broad number of customizations — some of which will be showcased in its new model home, currently under construction.

The one-story Grandview design at 3214 Wild Iris features three bedrooms, a study, covered patio and generous common area within 2,041 square feet. It is base priced in the $270,000s and expected to be open for tours at the end of 2020. While the model home is under construction, Coventry is operating from its on-site sales trailer, located at 3217 Wild Iris, where visitors can get more information about purchasing a home in the community.

Residents of the Overlook at Creekside will enjoy a future recreation center, park and beach-entry pool.

In Legend Point, Coventry is offering new home designs ranging from 1,500 to just over 2,500 square feet. Standard features include spacious family rooms, island kitchens and well-appointed owner’s retreats. Natural gas is available for increased energy efficiency.

Homebuyers can choose to expand upon these features with a number of options such as fireplaces, outdoor kitchens and media rooms.

The recently opened model home at 3934 Legend Park is the single-story Liberty floor plan featuring a study/homework center, casual dining area and large owner’s retreat.

Residents of Legend Point enjoy access to a neighborhood swimming pool, children’s playground with picnic pavilion and walking and biking trails.

Homes in both communities are near attractions such as Gruene Hall, Schlitterbahn, the Stars & Stripes Drive-In Theater, Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe and Comal rivers.

Legend Point students are zoned to highly regarded New Braunfels Independent School District schools while Overlook students attended gold star schools in the Comal Independent School District.

In addition to Overlook at Creekside and Legend Point, Coventry Homes also builds in Gruene Haven/River Chase in New Braunfels and 10 other communities in the San Antonio area.

“Near both Austin and San Antonio, New Braunfels has an ideal location with so much charm and history,” Dadidakis said. “New Braunfels has a lot of appeal.”
